Benefits
Guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel have access to exclusive benefits such as extended theme park hours, complimentary airport and resort transportation, room-charging privileges and package delivery. Disney resort guests may also add a dining plan to their room and ticket package, which is only available to Disney resort guests.
Types
Walt Disney World offers three categories of resort hotels. All the resorts feature one main pool and several smaller pools, a food court, arcade and sundries shop. Disney's budget-priced Value Resorts feature standard accommodations and limited resort amenities. Disney's Moderate Resorts fall in the middle of the Disney price range. They offer a restaurant, waterslide and some recreation activities. Disney's Deluxe Resorts offer luxury rooms (including some suites and villas), several on-site restaurants and an array of recreation activities.
Locations
The Walt Disney World Resort is divided into several areas, and it's recommended that you select a hotel that is closest to the attraction you plan to visit the most. The resort areas include the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, Epcot Resort Area, Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort Area, Downtown Disney Resort Area and Disney's Wide World of Sports Resort Area.
