Hawaii's average temperature is a mellow 70 degrees, with lows only at 60 degrees in the winter and an average of 90 on average in the summer. Rain and wind are gentle in Hawaii, save for the hurricane season. Hawaii is a good place ot visit any time of the year.
Instructions
1. Visit Hawaii in April, May, September or October for the best weather conditions. The hotels are cheaper in April through December. December through February is tourist season. The hottest weather is from June through October.
2. Enjoy the sprinkle showers of rain. Soft rains are always on one of the islands at any time. These soft rains are what make Hawaii lush and beautiful. Daylight hours do not change much between summer and winter, and the rain is rarely ever a nuisance.
3. Visit the wettest city in the United States. The island of Hilo receives one hundred eighty inches of rain each year.
4. Visit Kona if you do not like rain. Kona rains at most five or six inches each year. Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island are the only places in Hawaii that have any major changes in temperature. The crater in Maui can be a cold as thirty degrees Fahrenheit.
5. Visit Hawaii’s Mauna Kea, Hawaii’s thirteen thousand foot mountain. Temperatures here can be as cold as twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. This is a great place for skiing and snowboarding.
6. Go swimming, surfing, sailing, or diving in Hawaii. The water temperatures are a stable seventy-four degrees most of the time, and can reach eighty degrees in the summer.
