The Pacific Resort Hotel has a man-made oasis
Loews, who owns the Royal Pacific Hotel, wants the resort to invoke the feeling of the South Seas. There are many islands on the South Seas with white sands and clear waters. Though the Royal Pacific Resort Hotel at Universal Orlando is not near the ocean, it still manages to have the South Seas feeling. This is largely accomplished with the help of a man-made lagoon surrounded by sand which gives the impression of a beach vacation.
Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios
Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida is a hot tourist destination for both singles and families alike. The Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando has a partnership with Universal Studios to provide discounts and special access to Universal Studios for guests of the hotel. The resort has over 1,000 rooms, including 51 luxury suites. Other features include a full gym, children's center, croquet, sand volleyball, complimentary bus or water taxi shuttles, luaus, 24-hour room service, business center, full gym and meeting space to accommodate businesses and conventions.
Dining
There are several restaurants and lounges at Royal Pacific, all of which feature world class chefs. The Islands Dining Room is decorated to look like Bali, and twice a week characters from Universal Studios come to entertain there. There is also Tchoup Chop, which is billed as a "jazzy Asian Cuisine" restaurant. It is the brainchild of famous television chef Emeril Lagasse. If you prefer local fare, the American Bar has both food and a large drink selection from the bar. Once a week there is the Wantilan Luau which features traditional South Pacific luau food.
Universal Express Access
Universal Studios Orlando is a big part of the Royal Pacific Resort Hotel experience. Guests of the Royal Pacific are offered options including passes to skip the lines at all Universal Orlando rides, priority seating at select restaurants at the park, complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the park and early entrance into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The Harry Potter feature is a special attraction inside Universal Studios that focuses on the popular children's books and movies. Early entrance is one hour before the attraction is open to the rest of the public.
Loews Hotels
The Royal Pacific Resort in Orlando is a part of the larger Loews hotel group. Though Loews has other resorts and hotels in Florida, the Royal Pacific hotel in Orlando is one-of-a-kind. Other Florida hotels and resorts run by Loews include the Don Cesar Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach, Loews Miami Beach Hotel in Miami and two other Universal Orlando hotels, the Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino.
