In the winter months, tourists flock to Hawaii to get away from the cold weather. Although weather can be cooler and wet in February, it is warm compared with many other of the 49 states. The Chinese New Year takes place in February, and it is highly celebrated in Hawaii. Most of the action surrounding this event happens in Lahaina, one of the main towns on the island, with a parade, martial arts demonstrations, food, fireworks, live music. This is a free event. Valentine's Day Drive to Hana
The Road to Hana is a popular and unforgettable tourist attraction. It is a narrow, winding road that can only be traveled on very, very slowly--in certain areas, only one car can pass at a time--with lots of beautiful scenery like beaches waterfalls and rain forests along the way. For couples, this could be a romantic way to spend a Valentine's Day. You can pack a picnic, take in all the beautiful surroundings, and even stay in one of two quaint bed and breakfasts once you arrive in Hana.
