Aston has properties throughout Hawaii, including several in Waikiki.
The Aston Hotels & Resorts chain has several of tropically landscaped and furnished properties on four of Hawaii's islands. Condos, upscale resorts and hotels as well as smaller, more moderately priced properties are offered. Aston offers specials at its locations throughout the year.
Aston Resorts Oahu
The Aston properties on Oahu are all in the Waikiki area. They range from the deluxe Aston Waikiki Beach Tower to the more sedate Waikiki Circle Hotel. The Waikiki Beach Tower is across the street from Waikiki Beach and offers one and two-bedroom condominiums, all with balconies facing the ocean. Twice-daily maid service, complimentary valet parking and a grocery delivery service are all available. Right next door is the moderately priced Waikiki Circle Hotel, which is, as the name implies, built in a circle. This makes the small but comfortable rooms pie shaped. The wide end of the pie opens up to a curved balcony and if you've opted for the ocean view categories, a panoramic view of Waikiki. Properties that sit farther away from the beach include the Waikiki Sunset and Waikiki Banyan, both condos near Kapiolani Park. The Waikiki Joy, two blocks from the beach on the western end of town, is a boutique style property with a jetted tub for two in every room.
Aston Resorts Maui
Maui is best known for its beaches and for the party town of Lahaina. With one exception, the Aston Maui Lu in the Kihei area, all of the chain's properties are condominiums. The most deluxe is the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. Offering studio, one and two-bedroom units, many of which face the ocean, this condo is right next to the shops and restaurants of Whaler's Village as well as the two Kaanapali Golf Courses. Just a couple of properties down the beach is the Kaanapali Shores. The stretch of beach isn't as wide in front of this resort but the property offers hotel-like services and family friendly accommodations at a more moderate price. The Maui Banyan is a condo property in the Kihei area, located across from the beaches at Kamaole Sands.
Aston Resorts Kauai
The Aston Waimea Plantation Cottages is one of the most unusual properties in the chain. Situated on the western end of Kauai, the cottages at one time housed sugar cane workers. Built in the early 1900s, the homes range from tiny one-bedrooms to the five-bedroom home that once was home to the plantation manager. They all sit in a coconut grove that reaches to the water's edge. The Aston at Poipu Kai sits on the sunniest part of Kauai and offers moderately priced one-, two- and three-bedroom condos in a tropical garden setting. In Lihue, both the Aloha Beach Hotel and the Islander on the Beach offer hotel rooms, some with kitchenettes, and are two of Aston's least expensive properties.
Aston Resorts Big Island Hawaii
Aston offers three condo properties on the Big Island of Hawaii, all on the Kona, or western side, of the island. The most deluxe is the Aston Waikoloa Colony Villas, a gated community next to the championship Waikoloa Golf Courses. Featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom villa style units, this property offers a landscaped free form pool and deck area, children's pool and fitness center. Golfers staying here and at the neighboring Aston Shores at Waikoloa receive reduced golf rates and preferred tee times at the Waikoloa Courses. The third property is the low keyed, moderately priced Aston Kona by the Sea. Situated right in Kailua-Kona town, this condo offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units, an oceanfront pool and small beach area. It is within walking distance of pubs, shops, eateries and all the fun of Kona town.
