The Hawaiian island of Molokai is home to unspoiled country and untouched beaches. There are no skyscrapers or stoplights on Hawaii's fifth-largest island. The highest sea cliffs in the world are here, along the northeast coast, while the southern coast of the island is home to Hawaii's longest continuous fringing reef at 28 miles. There are 1,700-foot cliffs here, and one of Hawaii's biggest white sand beaches, Papohaku Beach, makes its home on Molokai.
Hotel Molokai
The Hotel Molokai is styled after a Polynesian village and includes bungalows, a freshwater pool with a view of nearby Hawaiian island Lanai and an oceanfront restaurant and lounge. The Bamboo Room is available for parties, weddings, fundraisers, reunions and meetings. Facilities able to host parties of up to 250 people are available. Other amenities include tour assistance, free parking, hammocks, laundry facilities and photocopy services. Since the closing of the Lodge at Molokai Ranch in 2008, this is the only hotel on the island.
Ke Nani Kai
Ke Nani Kai consists of 120 low-rise condominiums and is located on the west coast of the Kaluakoi Resort. Located on site are two tennis courts, a swimming pool, a heated whirlpool and a covered barbecue area. Several beaches, including Hawaii's longest white-sand beach, Papohaku Beach, are located within walking distance. Each condo has a full kitchen, washer/dryer and covered lanais. Most units require a three-night minimum stay while others do not have a minimum requirement.
Molokai Shores
Molokai Shores is the only condominium resort located one mile from Kaunakakai, the largest town on the island of Molokai, where groceries and souvenirs are available for purchase. The resort includes a swimming pool, putting green, shuffleboard, coin-operated laundry facilities, barber/beauty shop, florist and a barbecue area. The island of Lanai sits across the Pailolo Channel and, from December to April, visiting humpback whales are often visible. Each condo has a kitchen, covered lanai and ocean views.
Paniolo Hale
Paniolo Hale is on the northwestern tip of Molokai on Kepuhi Beach. It is located around lush gardens with large trees providing beautiful vistas. On site are a fresh-water swimming pool and gas barbeques. Papohaku Beach is located adjacent to the property. Minimum stays range from two to seven nights and are dependent on which unit is reserved.
