The Hale Koa Hotel is an active-military-only facility located on the waterfront near the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa and the Fort Derussy Beach Park. The hotel features nightly entertainment, a traditional Hawaiian restaurant, the Point health club and, of course, the beach. The 817 guest rooms have air conditioning, color TV and high-speed Internet access.
Civilian Hotels
Military personnel who wish to stay in or near Honolulu can do so at most of the civilian hotels in the area while enjoying a special government rate. The rates tend to consist of a percentage discount issued for those carrying a valid ID proving current enrollment in the armed forces.
