Written by multiple authors, the "Nancy Drew" series of adventure books centers on a teenage girl who must solve difficult mysteries by finding clues and talking to people she suspects. The popularity of the series led to the release of several video games based on the concept set forth in the books. Video game enthusiasts can take advantage of tips and clues to enhance their success in "Nancy Drew" games for personal computers.
Ending Variations
In the PC game "Nancy Drew: Double Dare 5," there are multiple games included. One of them, "Danger By Design," features multiple endings that players can trigger by performing certain tasks. To see the first alternate ending, players must go to the character Mintette and tell her that Heather is sending malicious letters. The second different ending is achieved by never telling Minette about Heather's letters. Players who go the first route end up feuding with Heather, while players who choose the second ending are able to star in a fashion show at the end of the game.
