Turning 16 marks a milestone for teenagers in their lives. Once they reach their "Sweet 16" birthday, they have left their childhood behind and begun to make the steps toward adulthood. You can host your own competition where other guests vote on who sings the best with the karaoke player. Alternatively, look for a rock band or dancing game for your gaming platform. Using a gaming system band program, the players use specialty controllers in the shape of guitars, pianos, drums and a microphone to sing and play along with the song on the screen. These games closely resemble the karaoke machine but with the addition of instruments with the vocals. A dancing game has the player plug a dance pad into a video gaming system and move his feet along with the game on the television screen. These interactive video games require the purchase of the video gaming system, the game and the controllers.
