The nearest military bases are more than 100 miles away from this location, although they offer lodgings for the traveler who does not mind dealing with such a long commute. It must be noted that several hotels in the Orlando area do offer military discounts, though they are not run by the Department of Defense. Some of these hotels require only a valid military identification card, dependent, retired or active duty.
