Parades and fireworks are daily occurrences in Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World in Florida is the largest amusement theme park in the world as of 2010, with 25,000 acres of rides and attractions drawing millions of visitors year round. According to Walt Disney World's official website, more than 270 buses transport visitors around the Vacation Kingdom. A Disney vacation can be costly and stressful, so a vacation here requires some planning, whether it is your first visit or fifth.
Prioritize Rides and Attractions
According to USATourist.com, Walt Disney World is busiest between the months of February to August, as well as during the Christmas holidays. September to November is usually its lull months, with weekends being the least crowded. Since the place is big and crowded, you can't realistically expect to see everything in one visit to Walt Disney World. Take note of which rides and attractions appeal most to you and your family. Plan your itinerary ahead of time to make the most out of your day. The place is both a theme park and a resort but it's best to start your visit with the rides. Arriving early to beat the lines allows you to spend less time milling about. When you're done with the rides, take a stroll and watch the parade or enjoy the pool at the Epcot resort.
Use a Fastpass
You may also book a Fastpass, which is used for all four theme parks inside Walt Disney World. The Fastpass is an electronic card that gives you a priority seat on any ride. Machines are positioned around the park to dispense Fastpass tickets, eliminating having to stand in line for that ride. Fastpasses are only valid the day they're issued.
Plan Meals and Carry Snacks
Walt Disney World offers advance reservations for restaurants to ensure seating at meal times. Reservations are made online via their official site. However, expect the price of food to be more expensive within the park. Additionally, bring snacks and drinks for the kids, especially when they're standing in long lines during a hot day, as this can drain their energy.
