The area surrounding Iola Lake is teeming with wildlife.
Iola is a sleepy little town in Waupaca County in central Wisconsin. It is home to the Iola Old Car Show which occurs in July, and has a rotating display of antique and classic cars, military vehicles, and collectible cars. There are plenty of outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, hunting and fishing because Iola sits on the southern edge of Iola Lake. Another famous activity in Iola is the annual Lutefisk Supper. There is only one motel in Iola, but the neighboring towns have several to choose from.
