Starwood is building its first hotel in Miami but has hotels in surrounding cities.
Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide owns numerous well-known hotel brands, including Four Points, W, Le Meridien, Westin, Element, Sheraton and St. Regis. Starwood's first hotel in Miami, the Element Miami International Airport hotel, is scheduled to open in spring 2011. Starwood's closest hotels to Miami are in Miami Beach and Coral Gables, Florida.
Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach
Just east of Miami in Miami Beach is the Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach. This 216-room hotel is smoke-free and features four room plans--ocean view, city view, bay view and suites. All rooms feature amenities such as a hair dryer, desk, data port, iron and ironing board and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Additional hotel amenities include an outdoor heated pool, a business center and concierge service. An on-site restaurant, the Sungrass Caf , serves American and Italian cuisine. The hotel also has a lobby lounge called the Bloo Lounge.

W South Beach
The W South Beach is in Miami Beach. The hotel includes 334 guest rooms and bungalows in 14 floor plans. All rooms feature a glass balcony with a view of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Additional room amenities include nine-foot ceilings, coffee maker, spa shower and two flat-screen televisions and CD/DVD libraries. The smallest of the hotel's rooms provide 564 to 574 square feet of living space while the bungalows provide 1,330 square feet of living space over three floors. The Westin Colonnade, Coral Gables
Less than 10 miles from Miami in Coral Gables is the Westin Colonnade, Coral Gables.
