Magic Time Machine is a restaurant that provides customers with an "adventure" while they eat. When the restaurant chain opened in 1973, guests were entertained by the likes of Elvis, John Wayne, Tony the Tiger and Peter Pan characters. Customers now can enjoy dinnertime entertainment provided by pop culture icons such as Jack Sparrow, Indiana Jones, Dora the Explorer, Ace Ventura and Cinderella. Menu items include prime rib, steaks, chicken, pork and seafood dishes such as herb smoked chicken, fried fantail shrimp and pork loin. According to the restaurant's website, Magic Time opens at 5:29 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4:29 p.m. Friday, and 10:59 a.m. on weekends. There is no set closing time. Gift cards are available, and Magic Time can be used for birthdays, anniversaries and other private events.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament has locations all around the United States, including Dallas. Experience the 11th century as you walk into the Medieval Times grounds, situated on 9 acres. The location includes a koi-filled moat. Enter the Hall of Arms into the celebration arena where King Phillippe and his daughter Leonore rule over a four-course dinner with entertainment that includes a wide cast of characters and an authentic medieval tournament. Vegetarian meals are available by request; let the restaurant know when you are booking your dinner. The standard dinner includes garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, spare rib, oven-roasted chicken, herb-based potato, a pastry selection and beverages. Doors open 90 minutes before showtime. Inexpensive fan passes are available for half-price admission for an entire year, and you can make reservations for birthdays and other private events. Other admission discounts are available, such as discounts for parties of two, three and four.

Nonna
While costumed figures do not reign supreme at Nonna, expect to find classic Italian-American cuisine complete with a wood-burning oven. The small, daily-changing menu can include antipasti, pizza with homemade mozzarella cheese, and desserts such as sticky toffee pudding. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday starting at 5:30 p.m. in the winter and 6 p.m. in the summer. The restaurant is open on Fridays for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
