Tiki statues and tiki games can make your party memorable.
Host a tiki party to bring friends together during the summer for some drinks, dancing and fun---or have a tiki-themed birthday. Either way, games are a major part of the entertainment, so plan activities that guests of all ages will enjoy. Tiki-themed games will make everyone laugh and create good photo opportunities. Does this Spark an idea?
Hula Dance-Off
Hire a professional to teach everyone do the hula. Then turn the music on and have a dance competition. Let the rest of the crowd judge who is best with the loudness of their cheers.
Limbo Competition
Set a limbo pole on top of two tiki statues. Have guests test their flexibility and see how low they can go. You're sure to get some laughs, so have the camera out to capture some silly moments.
Pineapple Bowling
Set up a game of pineapple bowling, using real pineapples for the pins. This can become messy, so play the game outside. Use a coconut as a bowling ball. The normal rules apply. Have fun rolling fruit and see who can roll a coconut the best.
Tiki Ring Toss
Arrange a set of tikis, varying the sizes and heights. Encourage guests to toss pool diving rings over the tikis like a ring toss game at a carnival. Set the games up so guests can play on their own time throughout the party.
Scavenger Hunt
Set up a tiki scavenger hunt or clue-finding hunt. Either have a set of clues that leads guests from one thing to another until they find the sacred tiki where a prize (sweet treats such as chocolate coins) lies. Or create a list of tiki- or luau-related items party-goers have to collect.
