Party Favor Ideas For Teens

There are lots of options for teenager party favors.

Coming up with party favors for teenagers can be a little bit more difficult than party favors for young children. Whereas children are happy with candies and inexpensive toys, you will need to get a little bit more creative to please the teens. But that doesn't mean that you have to spend a lot of money. Just consider the party's theme and think about the kinds of items teens enjoy. Does this Spark an idea?

CD

Create a mixed CD of the songs that were played at the party. This is an especially good idea if you are hosting a dance party for teens. When you are making the mix for the party, simply burn more copies for the favors. Some computer programs will produce labels that you can stick onto the CDs. If you don't have a program like that, simply take a permanent marker and write the date and name of the party on the CD.

Makeup Bag

Teenage girls are all about makeup, so consider giving cosmetic bags as favors for an all-girl party. This would be especially appropriate for a party with a spa theme. Cosmetic bags are available at many stores and come in inexpensive and expensive varieties. If you want, place a few items in the bags, such as nail polish, lip gloss and hand cream.

Pool Supplies

If you are planning a pool party for a group of teens, think about giving pool supplies as party favors. One way to do this is to purchase inexpensive beach bags in bright colors. Then fill them with all sorts of supplies, such as sunscreen, flip flops, beach towels and sunglasses. If you don't want to spend quite that much money, or if you are hosting a large group of teens, consider giving them each one item, such as a beach towel. Another alternative is to fill a large bin with lots of different items and let each teenager choose one or two things to take home.

Gift Certificates

Teenagers love hanging out at the mall, so you can also give them each a gift certificate to a local shopping center. The certificate doesn't have to be for a significant amount of money; it should be just enough that they get a bit of a discount off of the next pair of shoes or video game they decide to purchase. Teens would also enjoy a gift certificate for movie tickets.
