St. Meinrad is a small residential community in Indiana's Spencer County. The town's main point of interest is its Archabbey, with which it shares its name. The abbey is home to some 100 Benedictine monks and is open to visitors. The abbey itself has a guest house on-site, but there are no motels in the town. Other accommodation options can be found a short drive away in nearby towns.

The Best Western in Dale, Indiana, is less than 12 miles from St. Meinrad, just off of Interstate 64. The hotel has its own indoor pool, hot tub and gym as well as a range of business facilities. It does not have its own restaurant, so you'll have to rely on local dining options, such as Bungalow Bar, Chateau and Jenks Pizza. The Lincoln Amphitheatre, Holiday World Theme Park and Pioneer Village are located nearby.
