Teen Games To Play At The Beach

The beach is perfect for playing soccer, volleyball, or any game you want to adapt.

Summer is a great time to head to the beach with friends and soak up the outdoors. Once school is out and the high school lockers cleaned and closed, teenagers love spending their time on the beach with friends, hanging out and having a laugh. The beach is a great spot to adapt all your favorite games into wet, sandy, sunny fun. Does this Spark an idea?

Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball is a great way to spend the day with friends and get a hot tan. If you are lucky enough to have a net of your own, pack it into the car and bring it with you. Or, if you don’t, there are many beaches with nets already set up, although you may have to wait your turn. Put up your net, divide into teams, and serve up a great game. There is nothing better than setting the perfect spike and high-fiving with friends. Make sure to bring some lemonade and a cooler full of drinks because you’ll be sure to work up a sweat.

Beach Soccer

When you’re packing up for the beach, throw in a couple pylons or markers from the garage. They will be useful when making your nets. The beach is ideal for soccer. For anyone who loves to slide tackle or dive to save ball, the sand is the perfect turf. If you love the feel of sand slipping through your toes, beach soccer is the game to play. It doesn’t matter if you play three-on-three or six-on-six, the beach has limitless space for you to show-off off your moves and score a goal or two. It’s a great away to let your competitive side loose, and win some bragging rights.

Beach or Sandbar Football

There is only one thing better than finding a sandbar on the beach to float on a tube in, and it’s finding a sandbar to play football on. The best is to seek out a sandbar with water that reaches your mid-calf or just above your ankles. Running through shallow water is not only splashy fun, but amusing to watch. Choose a marker for your end-zone or bring out floating markers yourself. Then, choose teams and let the game begin. You can choose to play tackle football if the water is deep enough to break your fall. Just make sure all those bikinis are tied tightly or else someone may be showing-off more than their football skills.
