"Nick Arcade," which appears on the Shockwave website, has video games based on most of Nickelodeon's shows. As of February of 2011, 10 games featured "Spongebob Squarepants" and his large supporting cast of undersea friends. These titles ranged from action-themed adventures to simple puzzle games.
"Spongebob and The Clash of Triton"
Spongebob must defend his home, Bikini Bottom, from the forces of Triton. The player controls Spongebob or his friend Patrick has they fight Krabby Patty soldiers through 25 levels. If the player earns enough "smiting points," she gets power-ups that make the game easier.
"Truth or Square"
"Truth or Square" is a board game simulator several players can play at once. The object is to escape from the ventilation system of the Krusty Krab restaurant. The players take turns moving and participating in different challenges, with the winner earning in-game perks.
Obstacle Odyssey I and II
"Obstacle Odyssey" is a combination action/puzzle game in which the player must guide Spongebob to the end of an obstacle-filled course. The player scores higher by moving Spongebob as fast as possible. This is one of the two Spongebob games in the "Nick Arcade" website to have a sequel, and both are available for download.
Atlantis SquareOff
"Atlantis SquareOff" is an adventure game with a twist. Spongebob collects cards that he must use to participate in turn-based card battles with various enemies. You must have an operating system other than "Windows Vista" to play the game.
Diner Dash I and II
"Diner Dash" is the second Spongebob game in the "Nick Arcade" website to have a sequel. The player must help Spongebob perform his duties as a waiter in the Krusty Krab restaurant. The player scores by bringing the correct orders to the tables as fast as possible and avoiding the restaurant's tricky obstacles.
Spongebob Squarepants 3-D
"Spongebob Squarepants 3-D" turns Bikini Bottom into a fully 3-D world. The player controls Spongebob and Patrick as they travel in their Krabby Patty-mobile. The player can make stops in Bikini Bottom and participate in a number of challenges.
Krabby Quest
"Krabby Quest" is a puzzle game in which Spongebob and Patrick must comb the floor of the ocean to recover the 1,000 Krabby Patties that were stolen and scattered by Mr. Krabb's nemesis, Plankton. The game boasts 60 levels spread over five worlds.
Bubble Rush!
"Bubble Rush!" is a puzzle game. Spongebob must destroy all the bubbles in a level by making more than two like-colored bubbles touch each other. The player scores higher by performing this feat as fast as possible.
