Petrolia is a small town at the south end of Ontario, a province of Canada. Petrolia is best known for having some of the earliest oil wells in North America. It is often credited with starting the oil industry on the continent. Petrolia is known as "Canada's Victorian Oil Town." One of its biggest attractions is the Petrolia Discovery Museum. Several hotels are within 15 miles of Petrolia as well.
