Stepbystep On Make An 18th Birthday Invitation

Make your own 18th birthday invitations with user-friendly templates.

By creating your own 18th birthday invitations, you can make something that meets your specifications and expectations. Unique party invitations that you are responsible for designing will give guests something to look forward to because they set the party's theme and ambiance. Creating your own unique invitations should entice your guests and give them an idea of what to expect.

Instructions

1. Draw or paint special teen iconic moments on the invitation. For example, if your 18-year-old daughter is having a sleepover birthday party, encourage her to draw girls in pajamas giving each other makeovers. Use special craft supplies like glitter, feathers, paints, or ribbons and strings to add to the invitation's teen appeal.

2. Note the coming-of-age birthday on the invitation by adding photos. Encourage your teen to find memorable photos with friends or special family moments. Make color copies of these photos and glue them onto the invitation's front and inside cover. Write "remember when" captions to create a through-the-years sequence. This can be a special way for the guests to appreciate and celebrate her new stage in life.

3. Create the content. Cut out letters from old magazines to spell out catchy wording and phrases to grab the reader's attention. Use unique fonts from the magazine to assemble a simple greeting.

4. Write in important party information. Include the specific date of the party, and time and place of venue. Inform the guests about proper attire if necessary. Include directions to the venue and your phone number and email in case they have questions.

5. Review invitations for spelling errors, and make sure that all contact information is correct before sending out.
