Computer games
Slingo is a PC video game that plays like a combination of Bingo and slots. In Slingo, the player has a number of cards. The goal is to match the cards with their counterparts in the slot board. The player has a limited number of spins to randomly produce the matches to their cards.
History
The first edition of Slingo was released in 1998 by Hasbro Interactive. Slingo has been released in a number of other versions since. In 2005, Slingo Deluxe was released for the PC. A simplified Slingo-2-Go was launched for mobile platforms. Developers soon began adapting themes to Slingo games, and in 2007 Mac Play released Slingo Quest. Other themed Slingo games include Slingo Quest Hawaii, Slingo Quest Egypt and Slingo Mystery: Who's Gold. Despite all the Slingo titles available, there are few cheats.
Slingo cheat
This cheat comes in the form of a glitch that allows the player to gain a number of free spins. For the cheat to work, the player must have one or more free spins on the 17th turn. When prompted to use a free spin, click the "yes" button repeatedly until the prompt disappears and the sound stops. If performed correctly, the free spin counter will read "-1" and points will not be deducted for the final rounds.
Slingo Quest Cheat
This simple trick allows the player to gain an advantage in matching the cards. If you look closely at the multiboard, some wheels may appear slightly dimmer than the rest. The lighter wheels indicate that there are additional matches on that wheel. The player can compare the different wheels to determine which board will have more matches to gain an advantage in matching the cards.
