Spongebob Squarepants Party Ideas For 4yearolds

Small children love SpongeBob Squarepants, the hilarious sponge that lives underwater in Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob and his friends, Squidward and Patrick, will provide endless ideas for a fun party for four-year-olds. Welcome party guests under the sea with an ocean-worthy party that Sandy Cheeks would be proud to attend. Does this Spark an idea?

Underwater Decor

Use sea-themed decorations for a SpongeBob party. Consider decorating with lots of blue, images from the show and things that represent SpongeBob such as pineapples, fish and sea shells. Make jellyfish balloons by taping long streamer pieces onto purple balloons, and buy fishing nets and put plastic sea creatures in them and hang them from the corners of the room. Lay out any SpongeBob toys or figures your child has to add to the theme.

Seaworthy Games

Have kids toss clean yellow sponges into a pail. Whoever gets the most sponges in the pail is the winner. Another ocean-themed game is a hunt for shells. Hide shells around the room and give kids small plastic beach buckets to see who can collect the most shells. A fun SpongeBob game that kids will love is Pin The Pants On SpongeBob. Use a printable template and cut out pants, affixing double-sided tape to each pair. Blindfold each party guest and see who can come closest to SpongeBob's backside.

Krabby Treats

Serve Bikini Bottom food for your party landlubbers. Hamburgers can become "Krabby Patties" and fresh pineapple will be side items. Goldfish crackers, french fries and a birthday cake shaped like SpongeBob will be big hits at the party. Rename items such as calling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches "Seanut Sandwiches" to keep with the SpongeBob theme. Make cut-out sugar cookies in the shape of stars and frost them with pink frosting to represent SpongeBob's friend Patrick Star.
