Resorts In Walt Disney World Fl

Walt Disney World resorts offer many amenities and close proximity.

Walt Disney World offers 28 resorts to suit a variety of budgets and rooms that accommodate various family sizes. There are three resort levels: value resorts, moderate resorts and deluxe resorts. While each level has its pros and cons, the Walt Disney World deluxe resorts offer the most amenities.

Polynesian Resort

The Polynesian Resort is part of a group of select hotels that give guests direct access to the monorail, the main transportation system around Walt Disney World in Florida. This means that guests can go directly to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot theme parks from their hotel, without getting on a bus or riding in a car.

The resort also offers a Spirit of Aloha dinner show, which is a luau feast featuring traditional Polynesian food, music and performers. At the Polynesian Resort, kids will enjoy the Nanea Volcano Pool, the Electrical Water Pageant, a character breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch, and the Neverland Club.

Yacht Club Resort

The Yacht Club is in walking distance of Epcot, via the International Gateway. It is also an easy walk to the Disney World Boardwalk. While all moderate and deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World Resort have multiple pools and at least one water slide, the Yacht Club features Stormalong Bay. This mini water resort takes up 3 acres with a replica of a shipwreck as its main centerpiece.

The resort boasts multiple water slides, a lazy river and a sand-bottomed pool. In the evening, adults can have dinner at a signature steakhouse--Yachtsman Steakhouse--while kids have fun at the supervised Sandcastle Club. Children will also enjoy the character breakfast at Cape May Caf , which presents Goofy, Minnie Mouse and other characters in a relaxed meet-and-greet setting.

Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a walk to the Animal Kingdom park. The hotel features a 43-acre wildlife preserve that gives you the opportunity to encounter exotic animals at your own convenience. It even offers Savanna View rooms, which have balconies that look out onto the wildlife preserve.

Some rooms come equipped with bunk beds for the kids. Animals that you can see at Animal Kingdom Lodge include zebras, wildebeests, ostriches, flamingos, antelope and vultures. Here kids will enjoy making crafts throughout the lodge, swimming in the 11,000-square-foot Uzima pool and riding down the 67-foot slide. There is also the supervised Simba's Clubhouse, where children hang out while the adults celebrate a night out.
